In an attempt to protect our nations' children against the increased lead in toys coming from overseas, Congress passed the bill, CPSIA legislation H.R. 4040. In this law, all products intended for children 12 and under must be tested for lead or face heafty fines of 100K+ and/or prison time. I am working with many advocacy groups to try to have this law amended. It would be sad to see so many business close shop during an already difficult economy just because of this law. My products have not been tested for lead, but as a mom of two small children, I would not ever choose to use materials that contain lead.
